Gautam Adani has addressed and dismissed recent rumours suggesting that global pop star Taylor Swift would perform at his younger son Jeet Adani ’s wedding. Speaking to the media during the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, the chairman of Adani Group confirmed that the wedding is scheduled for February 7 and will be a simple, traditional affair.

The billionaire clarified this amidst a flurry of online speculation, which included claims that top international chefs, cutting-edge technology, and a fleet of luxury cars were being arranged for the event. There were also unverified reports suggesting that Hollywood celebrities might attend. “Jeet’s wedding is on February 7. Our way of life is like that of common people. Jeet’s wedding will be very traditional and conducted in a simple manner,” said Adani, who is India’s second-richest individual.

When asked if any celebrities were expected to attend, Adani firmly stated, “No, not at all.” He reiterated that the ceremony would involve only close family members, maintaining an intimate and traditional atmosphere. For the unversed, rumours were rife that the Adani family is in talks with and British Rock band Coldplay for a live concert at the upcoming wedding.

Jeet Adani, the younger son of Gautam and Priti Adani , will marry Diva Shah , the daughter of Jaimin Shah, in Ahmedabad. Diva Shah comes from a well-known business family. Jeet Adani, who joined the Adani Group in 2019 after completing his education at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, has played a key role in the family business.
